The frame format of the HART protocol is encoded with 8 bits. Each byte is encoded with a start bit, a parity bit, and a stop bit for serial transmission. Generally, UART universal asynchronous receiving/transmitter is used to transmit bytes. The length of the HART data cannot exceed 25 bytes, because the data length and availability are not constant.
