Most of the software is not difficult to adjust images, and image separation is serious, that is, the software supports a small number of image formats and has weak functions. The traditional image compression technology is insufficient in terms of compression ratio, restoration speed, and massive image management, this severely hinders the promotion and use of high-resolution remote sensing data. In response to the above problems, our company developed an image management system.

Because of the image compression technology, the amount of data used by the system is greatly reduced. Generally, the original data is reduced by 10 to 20 times without obvious data details loss.

Autocad dwg drawing files, DXF drawing interchange files, microstation dgn design files, commonly used image files TIFF, Image Positioning files crls or TFW. These commonly used image files can be output as image compression files or imported into related image file datasets.

The system uses the image data compression technology to process the managed image data quickly. According to our tests, the data volume of about 300 normal images is stored in the TIFF format, which requires about 24 GB of data. It takes almost no time to open all images, after using the ECW compression technology, the image data volume is only 1 to 2 GB, and all data is transferred to the system. The time required will not exceed one minute.
