1: Cancel monitoring.
Everyone knows that flashget will automatically capture the address in the clipboard and pop up the dialog box automatically. Sometimes it will cause unnecessary trouble to you. If you don't want her to do this, you can click "Tools> options" on the menu bar and switch to the "monitoring" tab in the pop-up window.

2: Custom download task count and thread count
By default, flashget has a maximum of 10 threads and only 8 concurrent tasks. However, we can increase the number of threads and tasks by modifying the registry, so as to fully improve the download speed and efficiency.

(1) change the number of threads: Enter regedit, run the registry, and locate it in "hkey_current_usersoftwarejetcarjetcargeneral" (you can also find the corresponding key by searching ). Create a New DWORD Value, name it "maxparallelnum", and change its key value to the number of threads you want. Note that the maximum value is 30.

(2) Change the number of tasks: Same as above, enter regedit, run the registry, locate in "hkey-current-usersoftwarejetcarjetcargeneral", create a New DWORD value, and name it "maxsimjobs ", change the key value to the number of tasks that you want to perform simultaneously. In this way, after the computer is restarted, the number of flashget tasks and threads have been changed to what we need.

3: Set the proxy server.
Open flashget and click 'tool' → 'options' in the menu. In the 'options' dialog box that appears, click the 'proxy Server' tab, and then click the 'add' button under the list box, a 'proxy server settings' dialog box is displayed.

Select the 'HTTP 'option in the 'type' column, and fill in the corresponding content in the 'name', 'server', and 'Port' columns, respectively, the 'name' is only an identifier. If authentication is required during proxy login, select the 'Authentication' option on the right of the dialog box, enter the corresponding content in the 'username 'and 'Password' columns.

After adding the proxy server, check the box in the 'HTTP default' column of the row where the proxy server is located, and click the 'OK' button at the bottom of the dialog box. In this way, we have set the 'HTTP default' proxy server.

4. Handling of download interruptions:
