How bad is HD5000 and HD4000 performance?

Recently Acer has just launched the ultra-Haswell S7, which uses a new chip, but the vast majority of users have been disappointed by the Hu Hongyu choice to integrate the Intel HD 4400 (Haswell GT2) rather than the full HD 5000 (Haswell GT3). While HD 4400 has improved performance compared to the previous generation of HD 4000 (Ivy Bridge GT2), the performance of HD 5000 has been in some ways more sought-after. Apple launched the MacBook Air computer in 2013 with a Haswell GT3-level HD5000 configuration, so the vast majority of consumers are interested in the contrast between HD 5000 and HD 4000. These actual tests are largely in line with Intel's official instructions, but that doesn't mean much.

For this we tested 8 games on the new MBA, comparing HD4000 performance improvements.

From the 8 game tests above, you can see performance increases of around 2.3% to 40.5%, averaging HD4000 up 15.3% in performance.

In addition, performance improvement depends on the turbo technology, in only 15W of TDP environment (including CPU and PCH), when running a large game often need to use more CPU activity performance and or the correct GPU link in the case of the lower power consumption. In "Borderlands 2", We have determined that GT3-level HD5000 can use more robust performance in low-power environments.
