The extended indicator light is green.
When the extender is too close or too far from the master router, the indicator light is orange. In this case, you can adjust the position to reach the ideal state. From the indicator light color of the extended device, you can determine whether the position of the extended device is appropriate, as shown in the following figure:
Go to the extended management interface, and you can see the prompt that it is too close or too far, as shown below:
You can insert the wireless expansion device to a power outlet farther or closer to adjust the distance between the wireless expansion device and the router according to the page prompts. After the position is adjusted, the system automatically scales up without setting the parameter. After adjustment, observe the indicator light. If it turns green, it is the most ideal status.
If your home environment is small and any location is orange (too close), you can place it in a distant location.
