Fault symptom:
In Windows 7, the window in the taskbar is previewed. Even if the window preview is closed, a window name is displayed. As shown in the following figure:
For some reason, you need to cancel these functions. For example, if you want to move the mouse pointer of the XP system to this window, only text prompts are displayed, but no window preview is available. As shown in the following figure:
Cause analysis:
In Windows and Windows 8, the text is displayed when you move the cursor to the taskbar window. However, because the preview window is blocked, you only need to modify the registry to extend the preview delay of the taskbar thumbnail.
Solution:
Note: it is risky to modify the registry. If your computer system disk contains important information and data, back up the data in advance before you modify the registry. Back up personal data before performing the operation. To avoid system access failure due to unexpected operation. We recommend that you back up the registry in advance for accidental recovery.
Backup method: After you open the registry editor, click "file" in the upper left corner, select "export", and select the location to save. It is best not to select a system disk. In "file name", select the file name to save. Select "all" in "export range" and click "save ". In this way, the entire registry information can be backed up.
Solution 1:
Open the registry editor, expand hkey_current_usersoftwaremicrosoftwindowscurrentversionpoliceradvanced, and create a DWORD type item on the right, with the name ExtendedUIHoverTime. The data is set to 10000 (10 seconds) or longer in 10 hexadecimal format.
Solution 2:
Open the registry editor and expand it in sequence;
[HKEY_CURRENT_USERControl PanelMouse]. Change the value of "MouseHoverTime" to a greater value. The default value is "400". You can change it to "10000 ". This effect can also be achieved. As shown in the following figure:
After the modification is complete, log out or restart the computer, move the mouse to the taskbar window, the effect shown in the following figure will appear, and the thumbnail preview will no longer appear.
