When using a wireless router, three passwords are involved: wireless password, router management password, and broadband password. The role of each password is shown in the following figure:
The following describes how to set or modify a password.
1. I want to change the wireless (WiFi) password
The wireless password is the password required for wireless terminals (mobile phones and laptops) to connect to wireless signals. The wireless router does not have a wireless password for the wireless signal in the default factory status. The method for changing the wireless password is as follows:

Open your browser, clear the address bar, enter tplogin.cn (some routers are 192.168.1.1), and enter the management password in the pop-up prompt box, as shown in the figure below:
Note:: The Management password is set by the user. If you forget the password, restore the factory settings of the router and then reset it.

Set a wireless password
After entering the management interface, modify the wireless password on the right side of the interface, and click
SaveThe new wireless password takes effect immediately.
Note:: The password length is 8 ~ 63 digits. A combination of numbers or letters is recommended.

Save. Some routers need to be restarted before the settings take effect. Follow the prompts on the page.
Note:If you only change the password without changing the Wireless name, terminals that have previously connected to the signal must delete the wireless configuration file before they can connect to the signal normally.
2. I want to change the vro management password
The management password is the password you need to enter when logging on to the vro management interface.
Modification method: Log on to the vro interface and click

3. I want to change the Internet bandwidth password
The broadband password is the password for broadband dial-up Internet access. It is provided by the broadband carrier (China Telecom, China Unicom, and so on). You can only enter your broadband password in the vro.
