How can software grasp the hearts of users? -- We recommend three free small apps that are both cool and cool, so that we can enjoy the secrets together.

1. Annular dock

I once saw the Apple operating system's dock and installed several software that simulated it in windows, but it didn't take long before I uninstalled it. Although they are cool and pretty, they are not very comfortable to use. They occupy a lot of places and are set to automatically hidden and inconvenient. They are also worried about wasting resources.
On the other hand, although my desk is dirty and messy, I never brush coffee cups, but I cannot tolerate a lot of messy icons on Windows desktops. Therefore Program Locking to the taskbar has become my favorite feature. After all, the taskbar is limited. You can only put some of the most commonly used program icons. Until one day, I met circle dock and suddenly liked it-translucent + crystal is really King! Sometimes I like to call it out when I'm idle. What's even cooler is that when you scroll the scroll wheel, the icon on the disc will also rotate! In addition, it has many advantages:
● Convenience: drag the EXE file or folder to the disc to create a shortcut.
● Installation: It's okay to set 10 icons in the first circle. If it's not enough, it will automatically expand to the second and third circles ...... It's okay to put all the programs on it.
● Chinese supported: Select "Settings | language file location...", and then select "simplified Chinese 1. ini" or "simplified Chinese 2. ini.
● Small: the master program is less than 2 MB, and the standard library is 14 Mb in total.
● Multiple outbound calling methods: not only does it support the traditional outbound calling method of moving the mouse to the edge of the screen, but you can also use the middle mouse button or set the system shortcut key, or click the icon on the taskbar to call out. You can choose to make it appear at a certain position or at the current position of the mouse. I prefer to disable the way the mouse is moved to the edge of the screen, so as not to always worry about outgoing calls.
However, outbound calls are not convenient. The way to move the mouse to the edge of the window is easy to call out by mistake; it is uncomfortable to press the middle mouse button; the icon on the status bar is too small to be clicked; the shortcut key is, it is. Can there be other methods? You can consider the mouse gesture. The software I use is strokeit (Green Version Download, you know ). Set the shortcut key Ctrl + Shift + ALT + m in the circle dock, and associate the gesture "C" with the shortcut key Ctrl + Shift + ALT + m in strokeit, in this way, you can call out the circle dock by right-clicking a "C" on the screen.

2. Concentrated editor Q10

Q10 is actually a notepad. At best, there are four or five smaller functions than notepad. However, it has a unique selling point-concentration. What should I do? After running Q10, it will overlay the entire screen and the taskbar will be invisible. Internet Explorer, QQ, all eyes are lost, so you cannot concentrate on writing.Article? "It doesn't seem like you have to have a strong number of features to get a selling point." I thought so at the beginning. However, it is not so much a practical function as an emotion. When I first read "Emotional Design", I had been wondering how software could make users feel. Now, Q10 is an excellent example. We expect that Q10 will make us more focused, more efficient, and write better articles. This is an emotion. Looking at the black background of Q10, the gray status bar, and the Golden font, it seems that we have returned to the Age of Dos. This is another emotion-nostalgia, therefore, Q10 is specially equipped with a typewriter snap sound for the keyboard. When others use software with fancy toolbar, multiple windows, and multiple tabs, when we use this command line-style software, we will feel cool-the software has always triggered user sentiment. Anti-virus software should give people a sense of security, so it is not wise to report that the virus is always found in a pop-up window like Trend Micro and say that the virus "cannot be isolated or deleted. Chat software gives people a sense of contact, so maintaining the service is always available is the top priority, like QQ, its own service suspension is similar to suicide.
PS: I went to buy coffee today and found Nestle's slogan "It tastes good !" In addition, I added a more emotional "My inspiring moments )".

Tips: The default line spacing of Q10 is too small. As a result, only half rows of Chinese characters can be displayed. Press Ctrl + P to open the Configuration window, select the "layout" tab, and change "line spacing (%)" to 230. In addition, changing the font to "" will be more beautiful. Press F1 to view all shortcut keys.

3. paste puretext in plain text

Puretext has only one function. Press win + V to paste plain text (of course, the shortcut key can be customized ). This is a simple function that really helps me a lot! Because I often needCodePaste it into word. It is really cool to paste rich text, but the font size is often different from my existing text. The most terrible thing is that text will be input later, and the front font and color will be automatically maintained. Therefore, you have to reset the font and color every time you paste the code, which is troublesome. If puretext is very convenient, it is not because all text editing software, including office, cannot set the shortcut key for pasting plain text. (Using the office macro, you can still set the shortcut key to paste plain text, but it is very troublesome ). In fact, I want word to provide the following options: the color and font of the pasted stuff are retained, but the font size is the same as that of the text already input, then, the text entered later retains the font and color before pasting.

Summary

Circle dock and Q10 are both my favorite software, but they are so different. Circle dock has a gorgeous interface, and its shape even imitates objects (CDS) in the real world. It is also practical and easy to use (especially after Mouse gestures). It is a model of instinct and functional design. Q10 has no outstanding features, but it is unique in emotional design. Even its name "Q10" sounds cool. If it is "Black Notepad" or "fullscreen Notepad", it will be completely transparent. Its icons also match its overall style. I really admire the author of Q10. As for the question of text-only pasting, what I want to talk about is that the Devil exists in the details, especially operations with high usage such as copying and pasting. A little inconvenience will cause great user troubles, A slight improvement may lead to a qualitative leap.
