After modifying the registry, the general need to restart in order to take effect, of course, you can also do not restart on the entry into force, while pressing the CTRL+SHIFT+ESC key combination, in the pop-up Windows task list, select Explore, click the "End Process" button, and then in the pop-up Warning dialog box, click "Yes" , and then click file → new task (run) in Windows Task Manager, and in the Open text box of the pop-up Create new task, enter: Explorer, return to "resource Manager" reload, and the modified registry will also take effect.
First, there are usually three ways to get the modified registry into effect:
1, refresh. This means that the registry can take effect immediately after it has been modified (some modifications are possible).
2, restart the explorer process. This is also the simplest way to typically replace a reboot (the vast majority of applications).
3, restart. There are some modifications that you have to restart your computer, and there is no other shortcut to it (all available).
So it can be seen that the second method of "Restart the explorer process" has become the preferred solution!
Generally, after I modify the registry, I will use the following method to make it effective:
In Notepad, enter the following content, and save it as a Reflash.bat file!
@echo off
Taskkill/im explorer.exe/f
Ping-n 2 127.0.0.1 > Nul
Start C:\windows\explorer.exe
This bat file, after double-clicking, automatically ends the "explorer process" and then creates a new "explorer process" to make the modified registry effective. With this simple method can basically solve the daily registry changes! But some of them have to be restarted.
