   To start a new project, tap the menu file→new→other , or right-click an empty space in the project area and select new→other.

   From the pop-up box, enter MAVEN search at wizards, select Maven Projectfrom the results of the search, and then click next>.

   -create a simple project (skip archetype selection) (translation: Creating a single item (skipping the prototype selection)). If you choose this will skip MAVEN project prototype (template) selection, it is recommended not to tick , you can use the built-in template.

    Enter Maven-archetype-webapp(the model for the Web project) or enter Maven-archetype-quickstart(non-Web project) in the filter. These two are more commonly used models.

    Artifact Id (the name of the project, the name of the root directory)

    But there are some minor problems that need to be dealt with in advance, and when the project is completed, you can see that the project is using jdk1.5 by default, because we are using prototypes that are relatively early versions.

    Right-click on the newly created project, in the right-click menu, select Build Path→configure build Path ...
