I. Line connection

Before sending or receiving a fax, connect the random cables to the telephone outlets on the wall, connect the household cable to LINE, and connect the extension LINE to EXT ].

 

 

 

2. Sending a fax

1. Place the single-page document face-down on the document glass plate or the front-up on the paper feed device.

 
 

2. Press fax on the control panel.

3. Press hands-free dialing on the control panel or pick up the microphone.

4. Enter a fax number on the control panel using a digital keyboard.

5. When the remote fax machine sends a high-tone Fax signal, press start.

6. Put the microphone back.

 

3. Receive fax

 

1. Use a microphone to receive a fax:

 

When the other party calls you and receives the call from the microphone provided by the machine, the other party will tell you to give you a fax signal. Then, click start on the machine panel.

2. Use a telephone extension to receive a fax:

 
When the other party calls you, if you are not on the machine side, but the machine connection extension is very close to you, and the extension will ring, you can connect to the other party's phone on the extension without going to the fax machine. Press the [*], [9], and [*] keys on the extension. The machine starts receiving documents.
