Win7 function is too powerful, sometimes careless, but also have trouble, you say is not? Let's take BitLocker for a while.
Windows7, in order to protect the data, the e disk was BitLocker encrypted. But after reloading the system, E disk will not be accessible. Double-click E disk and no password input window pops up. Right-clicking to select Unlock Drive has no response. What to do?
In addition to reloading the system, you may not be able to eject the Password input window and access the data if you remove a hard drive that contains BitLocker Drive Encryption or move the hard drive to another computer.
Workaround:
Written in front of the text: After the use of Bitlocker encryption, from the user's information security perspective, you must have a password or a key to open or restore the relevant files. If you forget your password, you must find a backup key to open the file. If the key is not found, the encrypted file is basically not open ...
In the case of owning the key, you can use the Administrator command to unlock the drive. Specifically as follows:
In the Start menu, turn on All Programs > Attachments > Command prompt. Right-click on the command prompt and select Run as Administrator.
If a user Account Control (UAC) window pops up, please allow to continue.
Type the following command at the command line:
Manage-bde–unlock E:-recoverypassword Hu Jintao
Note: the "Hu" section is a BitLocker's recovery key instead of the password we set ourselves (the yellow area below), and note the spaces.
Unlock success:
Reminder: After BitLocker encryption is released, it is best to unlock the drive and then reset the BitLocker encryption again to avoid the occurrence of a password window that cannot pop up again later.
