How do I insert text in a word drawing graphic

When making a variety of flowcharts, you usually need to enter the corresponding text in the graphic. Let's learn how to insert text in a drawing. Take a look at the company recruitment flowchart shown in Figure 1 for an example.

(1) Drawing flow chart

Step 1th, click the Insert tab, click the Shape button, and select the rounded rectangle shape in the flowchart area, as shown in Figure 2.

Step 2nd, draw a rounded rectangle, and then select the shape, copy 5 of the graphic, and adjust the position relationship of each shape, as shown in Figure 3.

Step 3rd, click the Insert tab, click the Shape button, and select the arrow in the line area. Draw the arrows and use the drawn arrows to connect the various boxes as required, as shown in Figure 4.

Step 4th, select a rectangular box and click the Format tab. Click the Edit Text button in the Insert Shapes area, and Word automatically inserts a text box into the selected shape, entering the text, such as "fill out a job registration form."

In the 5th step, the same method is used to enter the corresponding text content in the other rounded rectangular boxes, and the final effect is shown in Figure 5.

The 6th step is to set the style of the text in the flowchart, which is set in the same way as the normal text style.

Step 7th, click the Insert tab, click the Text Box button, select Draw text box, and then draw a text box. Select the text box, right-click, select Set text box style, select the Color and Line tab in the pop-up dialog box, and set the color and line fill to no color, as shown in Figure 6, and click OK at the end.

Step 8th, copy the drawn text box 7, move the text box to the arrow on the flowchart, and enter the specified text in the text box, such as pass, and the final effect is shown in Figure 7.

(2) Adjust the distance between the text and the border of the graphic

When you insert text into a flowchart box, text and graphics become associated, and you can adjust the distance between the text and the border of the graphic as needed.

1th step, select the Flowchart box, click the right mouse button, and select the Format AutoShape menu item.

Step 2nd, click the Text Box tab, set the margins in the top and bottom four directions, as shown in Figure 8, and then click OK.
