Problem description

A few days ago, I heard a foreign company customer say that it is too expensive to use a mobile phone to make international calls. I said that Skype can be used, and the call quality is acceptable and the cost is low, I have been using it myself. She said that her Skype is no longer available. Yes, for some reason, skpye for iPhone has been removed from the Chinese apple store. Currently, only Skype for business can be found. This Skype for business is for enterprises. If your company is Office 365, Skype for business is an instant communication method that can be used both inside and outside of a company, individual users still use the Skype for iPhone version.

Problem Analysis

If we want to use Skype to make international calls on the iPhone, the first problem is to install Skype on the iPhone. We use the Apple ID to log on to the App Store to install the app, and the Apple ID has a country. That is to say, when you register an Apple id, the country selects China, after logging in, the app store in China will be opened. In other words, the app store in that country will be selected when you register an Apple id, app Store in other countries is not limited.

Solution

Register a non-Chinese Apple id, use this Apple ID to log on to the App Store, and then install Skype for iPhone. Here I will show you how to register and use the Apple id of North America to install Skype for iPhone.

Procedure

Assume that you are in the United States, your computer has a North American country (I take the United States as an example) IP-> log on to the Apple official homepage and select the United States Apple ID, you need to complete personal information during registration, we use Google to get the real address and zip code, and use SMS receive free to get the virtual U.S. mobile phone number for verification-> log out of the original App Store account on the iPhone, and use the new login application, search for and install Skype for iPhone-> recharge your account according to the wizard.

Detailed steps

Step 1: pretend to be in the US

Use some way (FQ) to pretend that you are already in the U. S. By accessing the http://www.ip38.com/verify that the IP address location is in the U. S:

Step 3 install Skype for iPhone on your phone

Access the app store on your mobile phone, log out of the current Apple ID, and log in with the applied U.S. Apple id. Search for Skype for iPhone to find and install it:
