Who will often idiot forget their own password, please raise your hand ...
Now the site requires a plethora of authentication, and I don't even know what websites I've registered. as long as a registered user name, the next second on the Idiot forget the password is what, until the use of the time there may even user names do not remember, and then hard to find a variety of things ... Heart tired, recently found a good thing to share to everyone, very useful oh.
KeePass and KEEPASSX
All are password manager, you can put your username, password are stored here, it is encrypted by storing your user name password.
I am using KEEPASSX, just can run on Linux platform, I personally think KeePass and KEEPASSX not much difference, KeePass is under Windows, also can under Linux, But KEEPASSX is a Linux version, and I found KEEPASSX's interface is better than KeePass.
Installing KeePass under Ubuntu can be installed directly on the command line (below)
1 [email protected]:~$ sudo apt-get Install KEEPASSX
If the above command fails, update the source first
2 [email protected]:~$ sudo apt-add-repository ppa:jtaylor/keepass
3 [email protected]:~$ sudo apt-get update
Install the first command again, or you can search for the installation directly in the Software Installation center.
The password Manager uses a database to encrypt your data, automatically fill out forms, and generate a more secure password (you can also customize the password), you can keep the data stored on the Internet, without worrying about losing passwords, and multiple computers can be used.
