Step 1th, open the Word2003 document window and position the insertion point cursor in the paragraph where the title of the article is located. Click the format → borders and Shading command in the menu bar, as shown in the figure.

Step 2nd, in the open Borders and Shading dialog box, switch to the Borders tab, in the Settings area, select the Custom option, select the appropriate line style in the line Style list, select the border color in the Color list, and select the appropriate value in the Width drop-down list. Click the Apply to Drop-down triangle button and select the paragraph option in the Drop-down menu. Then click the bottom Edge button in the preview area and click OK, as shown in the figure.

Tip: On the Borders tab, click the Options button to open the Borders and Shading Options dialog box, where the user can set the position of the paragraph border, complete the settings Click OK, as shown in the picture.
