How do we treat new things as "smart robots "?

Yesterday evening, I attended a "ideological exchange" Fellowship held by "blog China". There were many attendees and the atmosphere was lively and touching. During this Summit, I saw many old friends.

Recently, I have been thinking intermittently about how to look at new things (for example, Google launched a Linux-based Intelligent Robot "android ")? Further, how do we look at Google's initiative? That is to say, how do we look at new things in the IT world?

Relatively speaking, Microsoft's Windows and "no mother" Linux, like Big Brother and younger brother, a small one, there is a significant difference between the two. However, some people always dislike this little brother and say that it seems to be "nothing", but say that the Big Brother is "extremely powerful" or even "absolutely unique ". I think this attitude is unfair.

In December 19, a piece of news attracted my attention, entitled "Google's mobile phone plan: Android Development Kit has many vulnerabilities ". This is not a "Trivial matter ". The term "Loophole" refers to a plan that is "not careful" or has "vulnerabilities" ("flaw "), this is what we usually call "holes" ("hole. The first impression of this news is "Google's mobile phone program has many vulnerabilities", which has a great negative effect. But what is the actual situation? This Chinese message is from the article "Glitches bug Google's Android software" ("some minor defects of Google Android software") published by Scott Morrison in December 19. Some developers (such as Adam Macbeth) believe that Google's Android platform has brought headaches and frustrations to them so far ". For Google's Android Development Kit (SDK), the article directly quotes Mr. Adam Macbeth's words "poorly compiled ented" ("poor documentation ") or "just don't work" ("not running") is a problem with "coding errors. According to the article, Mr. Macbeth believes that "it's clearly not ready for prime time" ("Obviously, it is not prepared for prime time "). Google believes that the android Development Kit (SDK) released last month was designed to enable developers to start coding as early as possible, it is equivalent to an "early look" ("early appearance") to give them feedback (comments ). In this way, it seems that the Development Kit has some "small defects" ("Glitches bug"), which is quite normal. You don't have to make a fuss about it ". Google said, "we are collecting comments from various aspects and summarizing them into New Development kits ".

However, once the news was translated into Chinese, it completely changed its meaning. It turned into "many developers complained that there were a lot of code errors in the android Development Kit, some of which were incredible basic errors. Even worse, they claimed that Google did not respond to the feedback, and some observers questioned Google's mobile phone program's credibility ". Dear user, what are the "Code errors", "basic errors", and "question their credibility ". Such rhetoric is far away from facts and violates the basic principles of journalists.

Why do people hate Google's Android program so much? I think the main reason is that Google's smartphone (Android) program's "Openness" and Its Dalvik virtual machine are based on the fact that the Linux kernel version 2.6 is used. Today, Google's Android program is a major technological innovation and a new thing. To look at new things, we must have an objective stance and a just attitude, rather than "nitpicking" or even "ulterior motives ". Compared with windows, Linux is indeed a younger brother and is still very weak. For the weak, we must be a little compassionate and cannot "Fight in the dead ".
