In most home environments, only one vro is used for wireless network coverage. The coverage of a single wireless vro is limited. Wireless signals in some areas may be weak or even cannot be found.
This article describes how to improve the coverage of a single wireless router.
If the room is not open enough and there are obstacles such as partitions and walls, the attenuation of wireless signal penetration will be too large and the coverage will be greatly reduced. Some users put the router in a weak electrical box, closet, or embedded wall, and the antenna cannot be expanded. The surrounding panel also shields wireless signals, resulting in poor signal quality.
We recommend that you select an optimal placement location. You can refer to the following requirements:
1. Try to select the central position of the housing structure so that the terminal can receive signals at each position through the least wall. As shown in the following figure:
2. Avoid "hiding" the vro, place the vro in a higher position, and open the surrounding area of the vro. If the location is too low, wireless signals may encounter more furniture, electrical appliances and other obstacles during transmission, resulting in greater signal attenuation. As shown in the following figure:
A home router generally uses an omnidirectional antenna. The wireless signal distribution of an omnidirectional antenna is similar to the flattened elliptical shape. The wireless signal has the best coverage effect in the vertical direction of the antenna. As shown in the following figure:
We recommend that you adjust the antenna of the wireless router to be perpendicular to the ground, that is, to keep the antenna 90 ° with the ground, as shown in the following figure:
Note:Some terminals may have different built-in antennas, or mobile terminals such as mobile phones and tablets may have different placement angles, which may lead to different wireless signal reception, you can try to adjust the angle between some antennas of the router and the ground to 0 ° (that is, adjust to the horizontal ).
The method for increasing the signal strength of different routers is different. Refer to the following method based on the actual situation:
1. If some routers have Turbo buttons, you can click the Turbo button to enhance wireless coverage. As shown in the following figure:

1. Most household devices work in the GHz band and will interfere with the 2.4G wireless signal of the vro, resulting in signal attenuation and slow network speed. Wireless routers should try to stay away from microwave oven, Bluetooth device, wireless mouse and keyboard devices to reduce microwave interference in the same frequency band.
2. If the wireless signal of multiple routers in the adjacent environment uses the same channel, the wireless coverage effect will also be affected. We recommend that you modify the wireless channel. Log on to the vro management page and click

If the antenna of the wireless router is detachable, you can replace the high-gain antenna as needed.

After the above adjustment, the coverage effect is still poor. What should I do?
