How does the Chkdsk tool run repair?

1. On the hard disk H damage Prompt dialog box, click OK.

2. Click "Start", then enter cmd, right-click cmd in the candidate box that appears, and select "Run as Administrator".

3. Enter Chkdsk h:/F directly in the Command Prompt dialog box and press ENTER (H: Is the disk character of the problem hard drive), and then wait patiently for the program to run to the end.

4. If a prompt such as "in use" appears during the repair process, you can use the command line chkdsk h:/f/x and enter for repair.

For file information and full paths that need to be queried for fat or FAT32-formatted hard disks, enter Chkdsk h:/V directly and return.
