How does tplink modify the IP address of a router LAN port?

Our routers have a variety of management interfaces. Different management interfaces have different methods to modify the IP address of the LAN port of the router. Please refer to the actual situation for configuration.

Note:After modifying the IP address of the LAN port, we recommend that you use a domain name when logging on to the router interface again. Tplogin.cnLogon: If you use an IP address to log on, you must use the modified IP address to log on.

 

I. Vro

Log on to the vro management page and clickRoute settings> LANPort settings, As shown in the following figure:

LANPortIPSetDefault value:Automatic (recommended)It is recommended to keep automatic when LAN-WAN cascade or WDS wireless bridging. When LAN-LAN cascade is used,LANPortIPSetWe recommend that you selectManualModify the IP address and the master router in the same CIDR block without conflict. ClickSave. For example, the IP address of the LAN port of the primary router is 192.168.1.1, and the IP address of the LAN port of the secondary router is changed to 192.168.1.X (X = 2-254 ).

II. New interface router

Log on to the vro management page and clickAdvanced Settings > Network Parameters> LANPort settings, As shown in the following figure:

LAN Port IP SetDefault value: Automatic (recommended), Which can be changed to manual. The method for setting the IP address of the router LAN port on the new interface is the same as that of the cloud router.

 

III. Traditional interface router

Log on to the vro management page and click Network Parameters> LANPort settings, As shown in the following figure:

When WDS wireless bridging or LAN-LAN cascade, you need to modify the IP address of the LAN port and the same network segment of the master router without conflict. For example, the IP address of the LAN port of the primary router is 192.168.1.1, and the IP address of the LAN port of the secondary router is changed to 192.168.1.X (X = 2-254 ).

In the LAN-WAN cascade network mode, you need to modify the IP address of the LAN port and the IP address of different CIDR blocks of the main router, for example, the IP address of the LAN port of the main router is 192.168.1.1, change the LAN port IP address of the secondary router to 192.168.X.1.

Note:: Some routers on the traditional interface support LAN/WAN port IP Address Conflict Detection. When the frontend network is detected as 192.168.1.0, the LAN port IP address is automatically changed to 192.168.0.1.

After the IP address of the LAN port is modified, use the modified IP address to log on to the vro management interface.
