If you want to remotely view monitoring videos in an Internet environment, such as an office, hotel, or travel service. You only need to install TP-LINK security APP on the phone, you can through 3G/4G or Wi-Fi network to remotely watch the monitoring screen.

 

 

The following describes the mobile phone through TP-LINK security APP remote view monitoring screen method.

 

Setting method

 

Step 1: configure the network parameters of the DVR

 

APP Whether remote monitoring is successful depends on NVR Make sure that the following operations are performed on the connectivity with the network: NVR Connect Internet .

 

1. NVR is connected to a vro or a vSwitch that can access the Internet.

 

2. On The nvr gui or WEB interface, configure the correct network parameters for NVR according to the following instructions:

 

 

Note:The configured IP address and other parameters must ensure that NVR can access the Internet.

 

Step 2, mobile phone download and install TP-LINK security APP

 

Mobile phone connected to the network, scan NVR packing box or the QR code below, follow the prompts to download and install TP-LINK security APP. Apple phone users, you can search for "TP-LINK security" in the APP Store, you can download to the APP.

 

 

Step 3 register and log on to the TP-LINK ID

 

Run the TP-LINK security APP on the phone, enter the TP-LINK ID and the corresponding password, click Login. If you do not have a TP-LINK ID, click Create an account, Follow the prompts to register a TP-LINK ID. As shown in the following figure:

 

 

Note:The TP-LINK ID of the vro can also be logged on here.

 

Step 4: add a video channel

 

After entering the APP, click in the preview interface, as shown in the figure below:

 

 

On the channel list page, click, as shown in the following figure:

 

 

Note:If you have already manually logged on to the TP-LINK ID on NVR, the corresponding channel list is displayed, and click add.

 

Click Scan QR code, As shown in the following figure:

 

 

After scanning the QR code, NVR can automatically connect to the cloud. You can find the QR code on the back of the NVR shell or view it in the cloud service of GUI, as shown below:

 

 

Align the QR code scan window with the QR code as follows:

 

 

Scan successful, enter the NVR user name and password (the password is the NVR management password), and click Add, As shown in the following figure:

 

 

Step 5: view the monitoring screen

 

Click the IPC to be previewed. The page will automatically jump to the monitoring screen and you will be able to view it:

 

 

If you have multiple IPC instances, select all IPC instances and click OKYou can add it successfully.

 

After successful addition, you can view the monitoring screen. The viewing effect is as follows:

 

 

You can slide the page left and right to view the monitoring screen of each IPC, or use other functions of the APP in the upper right corner. After the APP is opened, the added Channel screen is automatically loaded.

 

The usage of each function key is as follows:

 

 

Answer questions

 

1 When adding a channel, a prompt is displayed. " Device offline " ?

 

A: follow the step 1 to check NVR network parameters. Make sure to configure the correct IP address, subnet mask, Gateway, and DNS address to ensure normal Internet access.

 

2 Unable to scan the QR code because the device is not there?

 

A: Use the NVR management IP address to log on to the WEB page. Set > Network > DDNSIn the TP-LINK DDNS, and then open the APP to automatically discover the Channel, added to view.

 

3 Cannot preview after adding a channel. The prompt is displayed. " Connection failed " ?

 

A: Make sure that you can preview the video of this channel on NVR, and ensure that the NVR network parameters are correct. If the connection still fails, update NVR to the latest software.
