General plug-and-play
(UPnP)It is a common peer-to-peer network connection architecture for computers and smart devices (or instruments. Based on Internet standards and technologies (such as TCP/IP, HTTP, and XML), UPnP enables devices to automatically connect to and collaborate with each other.
When the UPNP function is enabled on the vro, if the software in the user's computer also supports the UPNP protocol, the vro opens the corresponding virtual server port according to the needs of the user's software. For example, if the UPNP function of a vrowindowsis enabled after Thunder download is enabled on Windows 7, the vro automatically opens the virtual service port.
Our wireless router currently has three different styles of interfaces, which enable the UPNP function by default. The details are as follows:
Traditional interface
In
Forwarding rules
> UPNP
SetAre in the Enabled status:

Vro
By default, a vro supports the UPNP function and is on. Currently, no UPNP function is enabled and its status is monitored.
After the router is enabled, you only need to enable the application supporting UPNP on the terminal that supports UPNP on the LAN to use the UPNP function of the router.
