How does Win8 calibrate battery (680Z5E series )?

Step 1. Enter BIOS

When the notebook is used for a period of time, the battery will be lost. You can enter the BIOS to fully discharge the battery and calibrate the battery. The following describes the procedure:

1. When a Samsung logo screen with a blue background appears on the boot screen, quickly press the [F2] key on the keyboard.

Step 2. Calibrate the battery

1. After entering the BIOS, select Boot ].

 

2. Select Smart Battery Calibration and press Enter on the keyboard.

 
 

 

3. The following prompt window is displayed. Select Yes and press Enter to confirm.

 

 

After completing the above operations, you can enter the battery calibration mode. After the battery power is fully decharged, the computer will automatically shut down. At this time, the battery is calibrated and you can recharge the battery again.
