How Excel sorts data in advanced order

Step 1: Open an Excel workbook and select a range of cells in the table that requires advanced sorting.

Step 2: Switch to the Data panel and click the Sort button in the sorting and filtering palette.

Step 3: Pop Up the Sort dialog box, click the Add Condition button, and then add the 2nd condition after you perform the action.

Step 4: In the Sort dialog box, set the primary key to open, the secondary key is closed, and the order is descending.

Step 5: After the setup is complete, click the OK button to sort the data in advanced order.
