in Excel 2016, the feature of protection sharing is provided, which can solve the problem that many people input data at the same time. First create an Excel table, and then enter the name, address, postcode, contact, and other fixed header text on the first line. Next right click on any cell, select Format cell, switch to the Protection tab in the Open window, check the "lock" item, and click OK to return.

Now, in the "Tell me what you want to do" box, enter the keyword "protect sharing", press ENTER to confirm, open the Secure Shared workbook window, check the "Share by tracking changes" item, and set the shared password, and then click OK to return.

Finally, put this document into the server's shared file, you can open this Excel file to input, and other data entered by each other. When we click "Save", Excel pops up a dialog box indicating that "your worksheet has been updated with changes made by other users", and click OK, and other people's data will be automatically merged in. This function is equally valid in WPS.
