How does the Mac turn off the screen? Sometimes it takes a while to get out of a while, to save power and protect your computer, you will typically choose to turn off the screen. For Apple Mac notebook users, you can quickly turn off your Mac screen by simply turning on the screen lid. But if it's an Apple desktop or an imac machine, you can't turn off the monitor by capping the screen. The following small series teach everyone 2 ways to turn off the MAC monitor screen, whether it is a Mac notebook or desktop, applicable.
Method One: Apply shortcut keys to turn off the Mac screen
You can quickly turn off your Mac screen by using the Control + Shift + keyboard top-right corner (CD-ROM eject) button, as shown in the following illustration.
After you have installed the above method to turn off the Mac screen, just press any key on your keyboard to wake up your Mac.
Method two, Mission control trigger screen hibernation
Open Mac Preferences, and then go to the Mission control setting, as shown in the following figure.
2, in the Mission Control Settings window, click on the bottom of the "trigger angle" setting, and then for the current screen of the four corners of the trigger settings, as shown in the figure below.
3. Then the lower right corner of the screen is triggered to set the "put the Monitor into sleep" option. After setting, please click "OK" button, save, as shown in the figure below.
If you want to turn off the Mac screen later, just move the mouse to the corner of the screen where you set it, and it will trigger the action of turning off the monitor.
