Solving method
This section describes how to uninstall printer drivers from your computer.
(Uninstall is an operation that deletes drivers and software that will no longer be required or that the problem occurs.) )
After you uninstall the printer's driver, you will not be able to use printer printing. Please do this carefully.
Attention
The instructions in this section are for Mac OS X (v10.4).
If you do these things, and you connect other USB devices (excluding USB mouse devices and USB keyboards) to your computer, you may not be able to uninstall the driver correctly.
1. Please exit all running applications.
2. Mount the CD-ROM of the small Photo printer solution (compact PHOTO PRINTER Solution disk) that is included with the printer into the computer's CD-ROM drive.
3. Double-click the CD-ROM icon that appears on your desktop.
4. When the following screen appears, double-click [CP Driver].
5. When the following screen appears, double-click [CP780].
6. The following window will be displayed, please double-click [CP780 Installer] to start.
7. If the following screen appears, enter the name and password settings for your Macintosh computer.
Enter your computer's name and password.
Click [OK].
8. The following screen appears.
Select Clear Installation.
Click Clear Installation.
9. If the following screen appears, click Next.
10. The following screen appears and the uninstall begins.
11. The following screens will appear. Click [Exit].
12. From [Go to] menu, choose [Utility].
13. The following screen will appear, double-click the printer setup utility.
14. The following screen appears.
Select your printer.
Click [Delete].
This completes the uninstall of the printer driver.
