Tonido is a free application, through which we can remotely access and manage the files and data on the computer through a Web browser, do not need professional knowledge, as long as the internet can easily do it all: file viewing, uploading, sharing and other work can be easily done. The software supports Windows, Ubuntu, Mepis, Mac and many other operating systems, in addition to computer clients, as well as mobile clients, support for the iphone, Android, BlackBerry, Windows Phone and other mobile device clients. The Tonido server can securely synchronize files and share files between different devices.
Please note that Tonido is not open source software, but there is a free version.
This tutorial is about installing Tonido on an Ubuntu Linux server.
Installation step, first we need to install a download command:
sudo apt-get install wget
Create a directory of files and go to that directory:
sudo mkdir/usr/local/tonido
Cd/usr/local/tonido
Download the 64-bit installation package:
Cd/usr/local/tonidosudo wget http://www.tonido.com/download.php?tonido64.tar.gz
Unzip and run:
sudo tar-zxvf tonido64.tar.gz
./tonido.sh Start
Access via browser: http://127.0.0.1:10001/
