How the Computer filters mobile Web Ads

With more and more wireless Wi-Fi products, they can convert the data received by the network into Wi-Fi signal, so that a variety of mobile terminals can easily wireless internet. Because these data need to go through the local computer relay, so through the local computer advertising filtering software, we can filter the wireless data in the advertising information, so that when you use the mobile phone to watch the Web page or video, you can avoid the interruption of advertising information.

　　Set up advertising filtering system

Start by using the wireless Wi-Fi product client to create a wireless Wi-Fi signal source in the local system. Then open the Windows System Control Panel and click the "View network status and Tasks" option under "Network and Internet" in the list. Then in the pop-up window, locate the network connection name created by the wireless Wi-Fi product, and then click the name of the network connection to view the properties. Click the "Details" button in the Pop-up Status dialog box, and then locate the "IPV4" item in the pop-up dialog box and record it, in this case 192.168.1.102 (Figure 1).

Because wireless Wi-Fi products sent by the signal itself is advertising, so we want to remove ads need to find another way. Fortunately, to solve this problem is very simple, using a filter with the function of the agent software can be achieved. First download the latest version of Privoxy (http://www.privoxy.org) from the Internet, after running, click on the "Options" menu in the pop-up window "Edit Main configurationg" command, A software configuration file pops up. Find "listen-address" keywords through the search function of the text editor, because this parameter is in many places in the configuration file, we just need to modify this parameter of 783 lines. Now modify the default IP address information 127.0.0.1 to 192.168.1.102, which is the IP address that was previously recorded, and the default port information 8118 does not need to be modified (Figure 2). Save the configuration just after the last exit and click the "Enable" command on the "Options" menu to activate it.

　　More professional filtration effect

Although the Privoxy software has its own advertising filtering function, but because it has less advertising filtering rules, so the filtering effect is not very satisfactory. However, we can use a professional advertising filtering software to enhance its effect, that is, the famous ad muncher (with Chinese version). The biggest feature of AD muncher is that it can filter the vast majority of ads before the Web page is loaded. First switch to the ad muncher "Options" tab, select the "Filter target" option, and you will see all of the current system's process information in the All Programs list. This includes, of course, agent software Privoxy process, select the software process and then click the "Filter" button, you can add it to the left of the "My Filter Target" list, so the left-hand list will appear "+privoxy:*" (Figure 3). When the settings are complete, click the "Apply" button to close the Ad muncher Settings window. After the data sent by wireless Wi-Fi products, the first will be imported from the Privoxy software to the advertising filtering software, and then the filtered data will be sent to other mobile terminal devices.

　　Open the port of the firewall

To enable the mobile device to successfully connect to the local system's advertising filtering software to send the signal, create a firewall rule that accesses a specific port on the local system. Once again, enter the system's Control Panel and click on the "System and security" option in the list. Then click the Windows Firewall link in the pop-up window to see the Windows Firewall running from the pop-up window. Click on the "Advanced Settings" item on the left and click the "Inbound Rules" entry on the left in the Rules window that pops up. Next, click the New Rule button in the action area and configure it in the New Inbound Rules wizard window that pops up.

First select the Port option in the rule type, and then click the Next button (Figure 4). The TCP protocol is selected in protocols and ports and is set to "8118,80,443" in "specific local port", and the ports need to be separated by commas. Then click the "Next" button and select "Allow connections" option in "Action" (Figure 5). Continue to click Next and select all options in the profile, including domain, private, public, and so on. Finally, click "Next" to set the rule name so that the "inbound rule" is created.

Since the rule we created just now uses the TCP protocol, we need to follow the same steps to create a new UDP protocol to ensure that the mobile terminal successfully accesses the wireless Wi-Fi in the local system.

　　Enable Agent Clean Internet

Because the front is the agent to filter ads, so mobile devices also need to be set up by proxy to connect to the wireless Wi-Fi network. Here's an example of an Android system. First in the mobile phone interface click the "Settings" button, in the pop-up interface to open the "WLAN" function, and then click "WLAN" entry into the list. Next, click on the Refresh button in the lower-right corner of the list to search around the wireless Wi-Fi source. When you search for a wireless Wi-Fi product to send the signal, click on the name of the signal source.

Click "Show advanced Options" in the Settings window that pops up, and then find "Agent" in the pop-up list and set the proxy option to "manual". Then set the IP address in the proxy server host name to 192.168.1.102, and then set to 8118 in the proxy server port (Figure 6). When all the settings are complete, click on the "Connect" button, so that the mobile device can connect to the source of information, and the information received is to remove the advertising information.

This not only the Web page load faster, but also the content of the page will be more refreshing.
