However, the current situation is: on the one hand, many graduates of computer-related majors in Colleges and Universities feel a huge job pressure and job interviews are everywhere, even students who have graduated from formal colleges and universities cannot enter the IT industry. On the other hand, many IT enterprises have a headache for finding the right IT talents. So, how do we look at this situation? How can college graduates successfully apply for a high-paying it job and enter an impressive industry? Reporter: Hello, teacher! With the rapid development of IT, the demand for IT talents is increasing year by year, and the salary of IT talents is also increasing. However, many graduates of computer-related majors in colleges and universities still feel a lot of job pressure and job interviews are everywhere. What do you think is the reason? In addition, as far as I know, many of your students have achieved average performance in school. After your training and guidance, you have found an enviable high-paying job. Is there any secret? Can you tell us the similarities and differences between them and ordinary students.
Jacky: no secret. I think a good career orientation and continuous efforts are the key to the success of my past students. "On the one hand, employers cannot find the right talent, but graduates cannot find the ideal job." In fact, we have been exploring and researching this issue. After extensive verification, we come to the following two conclusions:
First, there is a certain lag in the curriculum of computer science in colleges and universities, and the courses offered also focus more on the cultivation of the theoretical basis. Enterprise recruitment is increasingly inclined to recruit Practical Talents for use. Especially for recent graduates, the lack of work experience makes it difficult to successfully find a high-paying it job.
Second, most college students lack a good career orientation, fail to have a clear plan for their future career development, and do not have sufficient preparation for graduation job seeking, this is also an important reason why many college graduates cannot find their desired jobs. At present, there is a serious structural imbalance between talent supply and demand in the IT industry. Because the majority of students do not know much about the dynamics of the industry, many students tend to follow the trend blindly, resulting in a serious oversupply of some positions (such as: network administrators), and some IT positions (such as: software engineers, all-around website designers) however, it is difficult to recruit qualified talents. Therefore, I think it is very important for students to learn more about the talent demands in the IT industry. To select a career direction, you must intentionally accumulate relevant skills and work experience. When you graduate to apply for a job, if you can quickly enter the job status like a person with one or two years of work experience, to achieve real "seamless integration of learning and work", the job competitiveness will naturally be superior.
Reporter: The accurate career positioning you mentioned just now has a great impact on the successful employment of college students. When do you think it is better for college students to do career positioning?
Jacky: it is best to start career orientation in the sophomore year and junior year. During this period, students should pay more attention to recruitment information to see which industries have a better development prospects? What are the job requirements of these industries? What skills are required for these positions? So that you can prepare yourself in advance. Now, many students have to prepare for their postgraduate entrance exams one or more years in advance. However, most of them have not made sufficient preparations for employment, and most of them are senior students, when employment is close at hand, you must consider what you will do in the future. At this time, even if it was found that companies outside the company are hiring J2EE software engineers, but they only learned some basic C language syntax at school, and there is not enough time to prepare. This is like knowing which courses you want to take in the first week of the postgraduate entrance exam. Of course, you cannot get a good score.
Reporter: Yes! The metaphor you just mentioned is really vivid. At present, many people are confused during their college years. On the one hand, they know that it is not enough to win the job competition by relying solely on school courses. On the other hand, many people do not know what they should learn, when I graduated from employment, I realized what kind of talent the employer needed, but it was too late to start to stick to it temporarily. So how can college students well position their careers?
Jacky: I am here to share some of my views with my classmates: in my opinion, a good career orientation should generally take into account the fit of the industry prospects, personal skills, interests, education background, and work experience. First, you need to know the development trends of the industry, which positions have strong demand for talents, and the salary and treatment of these positions. Then, you can select a career development direction based on your interests and professional background, measure the test taker's knowledge about the skills required by the career direction and the future growth path of the career. Then, identify the gaps between the skills and work experience required by the career direction based on the actual situation; in this way, we can make our life win at the starting line of employment.
REPORTER: You mentioned the fit in five aspects. I think it is easy to evaluate the educational background and interests. How can we obtain the skills required for industry dynamics and positions?
Jacky: many students have asked me this question before. The achievement of industry dynamics requires us to pay more attention to the development of social fields when studying in schools. For example, if you pay more attention to industry websites such as csdn.net and professional recruitment websites such as 51job.com, there are often some dynamic workplace comments. For example, the 51job Shanghai site has recently published a comment on "Software Talent: Shanghai gap without limit. In this way, the students can easily understand the talent shortage in the workplace. To learn the skills required for these positions, you can type these positions in the job searcher of 51job. The skill requirements for the same job are roughly similar. The students can see the common characteristics from several companies. For example, the job requirements for Java software engineers are generally: "Bachelor degree or above in computer related major; familiar with Java, JSP/servlet; proficient in one or more SQL Server 2000/DB2/Oracle databases; 1-2 years related development experience ". Once you have understood the needs of these positions, you must attend relevant technical training in a timely manner, or purchase relevant books to learn the knowledge and skills required for the position, which you do not possess.
Reporter: Finally, I want to ask a question that has always plagued our college students. At present, most employers indicate "N years of work experience required" in recruitment requirements ". Fresh graduates have no work experience and cannot be hired, but do not participate in the work or gain work experience. This will undoubtedly cause new graduates to fall into the "cannot swim or enter the water, you can't learn to swim again without going into the water. How do you think college students can get out of this dilemma?
Jacky: the question you asked is indeed a very common phenomenon. I think there are two ways to solve this problem. One is to participate in some social practices during school and accumulate some experience. Of course, although there are many opportunities for students to participate in social practice, most of them are auxiliary jobs, such as tutoring and promotion. There are not many technical projects available. Another good way is to participate in practical training of projects. Under the guidance of technical experts, we can experience the development of large project teams, accumulating both project experience and team spirit, is a good choice. Of course, it takes some time and money to participate in project training. Students can choose based on their own situations.

Jacky: Finally, I want to tell my classmates a fable: There were two young people who used to be believers of God. One day they were lucky enough to meet God. The two boys are very excited.
