WinPE is often used now, but do you know what is the startup screen of WinPE and what is it? Here's how to teach you something specific.
First, need a tool software reshacker.
Second, find the Ntoskrnl.exe file.
Third, use Reshacker to open the Ntoskrnl.exe file for editing, find the first item: Bitmap 12052, and then select the menu to save to 1.bmp. In the same way, the eighth item (bitmap 82052) is also saved as 8.bmp, and the bitmap 18 is saved as well.
Four, open 1.bmp files with Photoshop, this time the picture is All black. Then select the image--mode--and the color table to load the 16.act file, OK. Now you should be able to see the image, open 18.bmp, the same method is displayed, and then use the box method to copy 18 of the content to 1.bmp, the WinXP map overlay, and then process the 8.bmp file.
After editing, then select the image--mode--and color table, load the Win.pal, this time the picture should be black again, save as 1-.bmp, depth select 8.
In Reshacker, replace the corresponding files in Ntoskrnl.exe with the edited 1.bmp and 8.bmp files: Reshacker open Ntoskrnl.exe, bitmap 12052, right-click, replace Bitmap, in "Open new bitmap File" Locate the saved 1.bmp file that you just edited, select "Open" and "replace", and finally save the Ntoskrnl.exe file.
Note: The boot screen only supports 16 colors, if you want to change the picture to find some 16-color pictures to do it, there is a replacement before you need to back up the system, in order to avoid errors.
