We can find the "terminal" application directly through the Spotlight search function on the MAC computer, as shown in the figure
If you don't search with Spotlight, you can also find it in the rest of the LaunchPad.
Next, enter this command in the terminal window:
Defaults write com.apple.screencapture type jpg
This command can change the screenshot profile directly to JPG format.
If you do not see the error prompt after executing the command, you have set the success.
Next we save a screenshot to see if the format is in JPG format.
A description of the picture file is displayed, and you can see that the format is already in JPG format, as shown in the figure
In addition, screenshots are stored on the desktop by default, if you want to modify its save path, it can also be implemented with the command. Input: Defaults write com.apple.screencapture location ~/pictures/
