Cleaning Methods for M7400 and M7600D toner cartridges:
I. The machine comes with the toner cartridge cleaning function:
1. Open the back cover when the device is in standby status.
2. Press the [clear] Key and the [function] Key at the same time. The LCD screen displays "Insert blank paper into the paper trough manually ".
3. Insert paper into the manual paper trough.
4. The device starts to clean the toner cartridges. The LCD screen displays "please wait ".
5. The paper is discharged from the back cover, and the toner cartridge has been cleaned.
6. Close the back cover. The device returns to the standby status.
Note: if a card jam error occurs during toner cartridge cleaning, the device will automatically cancel the toner cartridge cleaning mode and enter the error state.
2. Manually clean the toner cartridge unit:
1. Place the print sample page in front of the toner cartridge unit to identify the exact location of image defects.
2. While viewing the surface of the photosensitive toner cartridge, use your hands to transfer the toner cartridge unit gear along the arrow shown in the following figure.
3. After finding the matching mark on the print sample page, use a cotton swab to gently scrub the surface of the photosensitive toner cartridge until the stains or paper scraps on the surface of the toner cartridge are completely erased.
Note: Do not use sharp objects to wipe the surface of the photosensitive toner cartridge.
