How to connect to adsl in ubuntu

1. Click the Network icon in the upper-right corner of the desktop, select edit, and a dialog box is displayed:

 

Click Add. The dialog box is displayed:

Enter the user name and password to use adsl.

2. You can also run the following command on the terminal:

Open the terminal, enter the sudo pppoeconf command, enter the user name and password in the next menu, and select yes to establish an adsl connection.

In this way, the adsl connection can be used.

To enable or disable the adsl connection, enter sudo pon dsl-provider and sudo poff dsl-provider respectively in the terminal.
