How to convert data from an Excel table to a group stacked chart

If two groups of data need to be compared for two years, we can use the group stacked chart to display them.

As shown in the figure, the year-on-year sales ratio of item 1 and item 2 is much clearer.

1. Layout the data table again. First copy the data table to F1, and then add an empty row between each group of data to delete the date in the title (in this way, Excel will default the date column as the classification mark)

2. Select the data area. In this example, F1: H10 is used to insert the stacked column chart.

3. Double-click the horizontal axis and select "text axis" for the Axis type. The effect is shown in the figure below.

4. Add a data label and beautify the chart as follows.

Through the above operations, you will find that your data has generated a table chart, and we may see a high level of data according to this table chart.
