Mosaic
For data of different quality and different data volumes, you can select a method based on actual needs. In this section, we mainly describe two methods for Mosaic. Method 1: for images with low data quality and large chromatic aberration, the effect is more significant. Method 2: Mass Data mosaic production, good data quality, or low image color, you can use the batch mosaic method, which is fast and efficient.
Method 1: 1) Parameter settings for improving Running Efficiency
To make full use of the memory of the local computerENVIMain MenuFile> preferences, Pop-up dialog box:
Figure parameter settings
ClickOK, Save the settings, and then restartENVI. Complete the efficiency improvement settings.
2) Data mosaic and color balancing
After confirming that all the spliced images have the same projection information, open the image file and set it in the mosaic dialog box.
The procedure is as follows:
1)Open an image file
2) ENVI> basic tools> mosaicking> georeferenced, The pop-up dialog box is as follows:
Graph mosaic dialog box
3)Set parameters
Right-click an image> Edit entry, The pop-up dialog box is as follows:
Figure parameter settings and details
For other image images, clickOK.
4)Run the mosaic FunctionApply
ClickFile> apply, The run dialog box is displayed:
Figure running parameter settings
ClickOKRun the mosaic function.
3) Save results

Method 2:
1)ENVIThere is an extension patch"Mosaic_batch.sav",Store the patch inENVI ITT"Home \ ITT \ IDL \ idl80 \ products \ envi48 \ save_add"Folder, restartENVI;
2) InENVIMain MenuBasic tools> mosaicking> mosaic bacth
3) Run this function to add data.
The patch does not contain color balancing. If the image color difference is large, we recommend that you useENVIIn the main menuMosaicFunction.
Crop
The mosaic image data may be too wide for the study area. Therefore, you can crop the study area based on the tools provided by professional software. The specific steps are as follows:
1)Open the image data to be cropped
2)Select the crop area range
A: Interest Area Cropping
Imagewindow-> Overlay-> ROI
To obtain the image range in the study area:
Select the study area if you are interested in the image
B: Vector Data Cropping
File-> Open Vector->
Open the "region range" of the Vector file. SHP"->ConvertEVFVector file:
Open the Vector file and convert itEVFFormat

3)Crop Data
Basic tools-> Subset data via ROIs->
Select the cropping range to crop the data:
