How to embed fonts in a Word 2013 document

Typically, the fonts installed on each computer may not be the same. When a user sets a font for text in a Word2013 document, it is possible that the previously set font is unavailable if the computer opens the Word document. Embedding the fonts used in the Word2013 document resolves the problem, as described in the following procedure:

Step 1th, open the Word2013 document window, click the "file" → "Save as" button, and select the location where the Word document is saved, as shown in Figure 2013080115.

Step 2nd, in the Open Save As dialog box, click the Tools button and select the Save Options command from the Open menu, as shown in Figure 2013080116.

Step 3rd, open the Word Options dialog box, select the Embed fonts in file check box when the document is shared when you share it. If you select the embed only characters used in documents check box, the embedded font only works for the text that you currently have, not for the modified text, and if you select the Do not embed common system fonts check box, the fonts embedded in the Windows system default installation are ignored. Select both of these items as appropriate, and click the OK button, as shown in Figure 2013080117.

Step 4th, return to the Save As dialog box, enter a filename, and click the Save button. By doing this, you can embed the fonts in the Word2013 document into the document.
