USB storage devices and registries on some machines are disabled. To enable them, follow these steps:
Enable Registry
1. Press Win + R, enter the following command in the pop-up dialog box, and press Enter:
REG add HKCU \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Policies \ System/v DisableRegistryTools/t REG_DWORD/d 0/f
Modify registry
1. Press Win + R, enter the following command in the pop-up dialog box, and press Enter:
Regeit
2. expand "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Services \ usbehci" in sequence, find the "Start" key, and change "value data" in the editing window to "2 ", select "hexadecimal" as the base number. After modification, log out and you will be able to see the effect. To prevent others from using the same method, we can delete or rename the Registry Editor Program.
Tip: the "Start" key is the work switch of the USB device. The default value "3" indicates manual, "2" indicates automatic, and "4" indicates disabled.
3. expand "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Services \ USBSTOR", find the "Start" Key, double-click it, change its value to "2", and click "OK, restart the system

Enable access to drive files of USB storage devices
1. Press Win + R, enter the following command in the pop-up dialog box, and press Enter:

2. Enter the following command and press Enter:
Cd c: \ windows \ inf
Cacls usbstor. inf/G everyone: F
Cacls usbstor. pnf/G everyone: F
Cd C: \ windows \ system32 \ drivers
Cacls usbstor. sys/G everyone: F
