1. Insert the prepared boot USB flash drive into the USB interface of the computer. After the VM recognizes the USB flash drive, click "virtual machine" and select "Settings" from the drop-down list, as shown in the following figure:
2. Open the setting window and click "add". A wizard window will pop up. In the hardware type list, click "hard disk" and click "continue ", as shown in the following figure:
3. Click "use physical disk (for advanced users only)" and click "continue", as shown in the following figure:
4. In the device drop-down menu, select the option for the USB flash drive (PhysicalDrive1 on the mini-editor) and click "continue", as shown in the following figure:
5. When specifying the disk file, we do not need to change it. Select the default settings. Just click the "finish" button to confirm the creation, as shown in the following figure:
6. After completing the preceding operations, place the cursor in the system field in the upper left corner of the VM, right-click the System field, and select "power-on to BIOS (B)", as shown in the following figure:
7. A window will pop up later, asking if the connection is attempted every time you start the system. Click "yes", as shown in the figure below:
8. At startup, press F2 to enter the bios settings page. Switch to the "Boot" directory by using the left and right arrow keys on the keyboard, move the Hard Drive to the top of the directory by using the "+" or "-" keys on the keyboard, and press Enter to expand, as shown in the following figure:
9. Also use + or-move VMware Virtual SCSI Drive (0: 0) to the top and press F10 to save the Drive. A small window will pop up. You only need to select "Yes, as shown in the following figure:
