Sometimes, we often need to enter more than one row of data in an Excel cell. Don't think this is a simple question, actually, when we are ready to change lines in the cell, just press the ENTER key and Excel will definitely go to the next cell. So how do you enter more than one row of data in the same cell? I would like to introduce two tips here.
"Note" The techniques described in this article have been tested in Excel 2003 through
Method one. Temporary Setup method
If we just need to enter more than one row of data in a cell, you can press and hold down the ALT key after you enter the first row of the cell contents, and then the characters that continue to be entered automatically appear below the current cell.
Method Two. Batch Set method
If we need to enter more than a few rows of data in a large number of cells, the example above is a bit cumbersome. In fact, as long as we have a unified set of these cells, then you can directly output more than one row of data in these cells. The specific settings are as follows:
1. Select the cell for which you want to set the wrapping.
2. Right-click the cells, perform the format Cells command, and under the Align tab, tick the word wrap check box.
3. When we enter some extra long characters, the extra long part is automatically assigned to the next line by Excel.
