Now the GIF is becoming more and more popular. In the past, it was the only technology we had on the web to show animated pictures. This technique is very useful because it requires special browser Plug-ins to be implemented relative to real Player, Windows media, and so on. Today, we have better video standards and formats in our browsers, but GIF is popular in the Internet, perhaps people more like entertainment. Convert a small video into a GIF motion diagram
So how can you convert a whole little video, or a part of a long video, into a GIF map? Here you will use a multimedia tool: FFmpeg.
To convert the entire video to GIF, you can use the following command:
Ffmpeg-i Small.mp4 small.gif
To convert a specified time period in a video to an GIF, you can use the following command:
Ffmpeg-t 3-ss 00:00:02-i SMALL.WEBM small-clip.gif
The above command uses FFmpeg to extract and convert the duration 3 seconds from the second second of the video into a GIF animated map.
If the parameters remain the default, the resolution of the converted image is not particularly high, but you can set any of these parameters:
Ffmpeg-i small.mp4-b 2048k small.gif
Convert an animated GIF into a video
The command line is written in a very similar and simple notation:
Ffmpeg-f gif-i animation.gif Animation.mp4
This command also allows you to selectively convert GIF images into various video formats:
Ffmpeg-f gif-i animation.gif animation.mpeg ffmpeg-f gif-i animation.gif animation.webm
FFmpeg and ImageMagick are excellent multimedia editing tools, and you should spend a little time researching them, and many times you will find it very necessary.
