Browsing local files under Windows 8 also produces file browsing records, and Windows 8 systems are much simpler compared to Windows 7 systems.
Operation Steps:
Open Computer, click File in the upper left corner, and then select Delete history from the Drop-down list, and then select Address Bar History from the menu on the right, as shown in the figure:
Then there's no previous history in the Drop-down list,
If you do not want the browsing record to be generated, still need to go to the registry to disable permissions;
As shown in figure
In the registry ctrl+f, in the search box to enter the "typedpaths" search, you may need to search two times, of course, you can also find a one to "HKEY_CURRENT_USER"-"Software"-"Microsoft"-"Windows" -"CurrentVersion"-"explorer"-"Typedpaths"
After the search, right-click "Typedpaths" to select "Permissions", select the current user in the Permissions dialog box, click the tick in the settings below, and then tap OK, as shown
Browsing the file will not result in a browse record.
