How to fix error on USB flash drive

A recent friend of a U disk, after inserting the computer, the USB flash drive indicator light is on, and in "My Computer" also displays the disk symbol, but when you click the drive letter, there is an error: Please insert the disk into the driver. The same hints appear when formatting the USB drive.

After repeated trials, the following solutions were obtained:

First, right click on my Computer, management--storage--Disk manager, on the left side of the interface can see the logo on behalf of the Flash, click on it, select "Create a Partition", follow the prompts to complete the format, etc., the problem is expected to be resolved.

Second, download the "star shuttle low-level format tool" for low-level format of flash memory.

How to use the U disk Repair tool (Portfree Production program 3.27):

(1) Click "OPTION" in the lower right corner of the software and the following window will appear.

(2) Please select "Others" and select "Type", "removable"

(3) Please select "Capacity Adjust", here choose your USB flash drive capacity; If you do not have the required capacity here, please click "ADD" to fill in the required capacity.

(4) Select "Flash Test", select "Low level format", here are two parameters, one is all Blocks (it means low format of the entire disk), and the other is good Blocks (it means only the lower format good chunk, this parameter is suitable for USB flash drive with bad zone)

(5) In accordance with the above method of selection, please click "OK", save the settings, and then the USB drive to the computer, click "RUN" to start low format. After formatting, you can use it normally.
