If you want to convert the data in Excel to access, you can do so by using the following direct import method and establishing a link method.
First, direct import method
1. Start Access and create a new database file.
2. In the table option, execute the "file → get External data → import" command to open the Import dialog box.
3. Press the Drop-down button to the right of "file type" Select the Microsoft Excel (. xls) option, navigate to the folder that contains the workbook files you want to convert, select the appropriate workbook, press the Import button, and go to the Import Datasheet Wizard dialog box (Figure 1).
4. Select the worksheet that you want to import (such as "Project Data"), press the "Finish" button more than once by pressing the "next" button for further setup.
Note: If there is no special requirement, just press the "Finish" button in the previous step.
5. The system will now pop up an import Complete dialog box (in the middle of Figure 1) and press "OK" button.
At this point, the data is imported from Excel into Access.
Second, the establishment of link law
1. Start Access and create a new database file.
2. In the table option, execute the "file → get external data → link table" command to open the Links dialog box.
3. The following operations are basically similar to the above "direct import law", and we will not repeat them here.
Note: Both the direct import method and the Create link method can convert Excel data into Access, which differs from the icons displayed in Access (Figure 2), and the biggest difference is that the data from the former is disconnected from the data source, The converted data is automatically updated as the data source changes.
