Sometimes we may experience Word document corruption, but if you don't have a backup, you'll have to find a way to recover the Word document. Computer Theme House (www.51ztzj.com) Here are 7 different ways to find out which one is better for you?

  I. Document Format method

This method converts the corrupted Word document to another format and then converts it back to the Word document format. This is the simplest and most thorough method of document recovery. 1. After you open the corrupted document in Word, select file → Save As, in the Save as type list, select Rich Text Format (*.rtf), and then click the Save button. 2. Close the corrupted document, open the Rich text file you just saved, select "file → Save as", in the Save as type list, select Word Document (*.doc), and then click the Save button. 3. Close the RTF document and open the modified Word document. The conversion of Word documents to RTF will retain their format, and if the conversion does not correct file corruption, you can try to convert to another word processing format, which preserves the formatting of the Word document to varying degrees. If you do not use these formats to resolve this issue, you can convert the document to plain text format (*.txt) and then back to Word format. Because of the simplicity of plain text, this method may correct the damage, but all formatting of the Word document will be lost.

  Second, the Reset format method

Word Associates various formatting information with the last paragraph mark in the document, especially the formatting of sections and styles. This allows us to copy everything except the last paragraph mark to the new document, and it is possible to leave the corrupted content in the original document. The steps are as follows: 1, open the corrupted document in Word, select tools → options and select the Edit tab, and cancel the tick before using the smart paragraph selection check box. Uncheck the check box, and when you select the entire paragraph, Word will not automatically select the paragraph mark, and then click OK. 2. Select everything except the last paragraph mark by pressing the "Ctrl+end" key combination and pressing the "Ctrl+shift+home" key combination. 3. In the Common toolbar, click the Copy, New, and Paste buttons in turn. When you try to open a Word document, if the system is not responding, the possible reason is that the document is corrupted.
