How to install the WinPE system in other partitions

Recently found that many people want to know how to install the WinPE system on the other partitions of the hard disk, now say how to install the WinPE system on the first hard drive on the other primary partitions:

1, if it is Fat16/fat32 partition, first of all to ensure that the secondary partition is formatted under the 2K/XP, if not on the heavy grid bar it;

2, now assume that this partition has just been established, that is, there are no other documents, if there are other documents, as long as the file mentioned below does not matter;

3, install the Recovery Console under XP system, this will find a hidden file Cmldr in the XP boot partition;

4, copy this file to another primary partition (assuming the letter is D), and renamed to Ntldr, and the Ntdetect.com and Bootfont.bin copy to D disk;

5, according to Windows Help remove Recovery Console, if you want to keep it;

6, the CD-ROM i386 copy to D disk, and renamed as Minint, and then copy programs and documents and Settings folder;

7, extract the boot sector D disk, Fat16/fat32 is 512 bytes, NTFS is 8192 bytes, file name to take, such as for Boot.bin, can be extracted with PeBuilder mkbt.exe.

8, copy the Boot.bin to the C disk, and add c:boot.bin= "WinPE" to the boot.ini.

Note: To complete the above task, the CMLDR must be WinXP SP1 or later.
