1. Do not look forward to reading Chinese documents. First, you must carefully learn the General tutorials in the OPNET help in English. (Taking OPNET 10.0.a as an example) You must watch and do it! In tutorials, the first five sections of basic lessons must be done, and the first four sections of modeler lessons must be done. The first part of the second section can be skipped, you can understand the entire OPNET modeling.

2. Now I am training, and don't expect to immediately enter the model you want to do, or be too anxious to blindly modify the model of the original database. I personally suggest that you carefully understand the built-in ethcoax_net model no matter whether you are doing wired or wireless research, because its principle is relatively simple. It can be said that building a model without understanding the protocol is extremely wrong and dangerous. Therefore, we should first understand the 802.3 protocol (basically in every online book), and then carefully study the ethcoax_net model, basically what each sentence does. 3. Because we already have two OPNET books, you can buy them. It will be helpful. In fact, there are many problems on this forum. You have completed the first two steps and can solve them by searching for books.

4. Create your own model. It is difficult to take this step. It is worth reminding you that you should first fully understand the protocol and process you are about to do. Complex systems need to take steps of software engineering design. Tools are always tools, and they are not the most important. The best teacher is the library model that comes with OPNET, such as the wireless part and the WLAN module.
