How to make Win8.1 Update RTM escrow Mirrors

Preparation Tool: DISM tool (Win8.1 system), UltraISO (soft disk) v9.6.1

Test platform: Windows 8.1 Enterprise Edition (Win8.1 Professional Edition, core version of Empathy)

Upgrade Patch: WINDOWS8.1-KB2919355.MSU, WINDOWS8.1-KB2919442.MSU

Final Mirror: Win8.1 Update Enterprise Edition 6.3.9600.16610.WinBlue

Tip: Before you integrate the mirror, you need to prepare the following several pre-update patches to add to the mirror in advance.

Reference steps:

1. Extract the install.wim image files in the Win8.1 Enterprise version image

Use UltraISO (soft disk pass) to extract the Sourcesinstall.wim files from the system ISO to the E:win8 folder.

2. Integrated Win8.1 update RTM Escrow update patch to Install.wim mirror using DISM command line tools

Note: DISM is a WINDOWS7 system encapsulation deployment Tool and is an upgraded version of ImageX, so it can be used directly under win7/win8/win8.1.

For example: Create a new Wim empty folder in the E:win8 folder (for storing the install.wim system image after decompression), create a new update empty folder (store kb2919355.msu, KB2919442.MSU)

3, using the combination of key win+x, or right-click the Start button, open the command prompt (Admin):

Integrate the WINDOWS8.1-KB2919355-X64.MSU and WINDOWS8.1-KB2919442-X64.MSU update patches into the E:win8wim folder.

Image files mounted before uninstalling (unmount)

4, the use of UltraISO will make a good "install.wim" replace the original Win8.1 system, save as a new ISO installation mirror.
