Method One: Use the MathType menu
1. Click the MathType menu in the Word menu, use the Insert inline formula (insert Inline equation) directly in the menu listed, or insert the display formula (inserts display equation). In general, if there is no special requirement, the second display Formula command is used, which makes it easier to adjust the layout later.

2. Use this command, will automatically pop-up MathType software editing interface, using the MathType toolbar templates and symbols in the work interface to edit the corresponding formula.

3. After the formula is edited, click "Close" directly in the upper right corner of the window, and if you want to save it, select Save and then close it, the formula edited in MathType is already inserted into the Word document completely.
