1, open the "Start" menu, click the "Run" button
2, in the pop-up window input "CMD", and then determine or press ENTER.
3, in the command window input "wmicmemphysical get Maxcapacity" and then hit the ENTER key.
4, then the computer will give a string in kilobytes as the number of units. We're going to convert this number to our usual GB unit.
The conversion method is: "The number that comes out/(divided by) 1024/(divided by) 1024"
Figure: My computer gets the number of 16777216K bytes, then I divide by 1024 and divide by 1024, which is equal to 16GB. In other words, the hardware of my computer, with the system I installed, supports the maximum capacity of 16GB of RAM.
Note:
1, the operating system is different, the motherboard is different, then they support the maximum memory capacity is also different
2, Win 32-bit system, the highest is to support about 3.25G of memory, regardless of your motherboard the highest number of support, but 32-bit system can only support 3.25G or so memory
3, if you installed more than 4G of memory or just 4G, please install 64-bit operating system to obtain greater memory support, speed up the processing of personal PCs.
